The Route of Nativity scenes of La Orotava 2019<\/strong> is a Christmas event that you should not miss if you love this time of the year and you like to take a family walk through this beautiful neighboring city of Puerto de la Cruz, which undoubtedly has great monumental and artistic charm.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every year its cobbled streets, its climate and the Christmas atmosphere, especially since this route of nativity scenes through the city is held, makes La Orotava<\/a> a delight to visit.<\/span><\/p>\n

How many nativity scenes participate and where are they?<\/span><\/h2>\n

In this twelfth edition of the Route of Nativity scenes of La Orotava, the record number of 36 nativity scenes distributed throughout the municipality and with very diverse cultural styles will participate.<\/span><\/p>\n

It will be between December 21 and January 5 when the 36 nativity scenes will be exhibited at the same time; however, many of them will be opened in advance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among all the nativity scenes that will be exhibited, the most important one will be the Giant Nativity Scene located in the Town Hall Square of La Orotava, which has already been inaugurated since November 28 and will be exhibited with free access until January 6.<\/span><\/p>\n

It should also be noted that the Nativity scenes are adapted to persons with reduced mobility.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you visit most of the Nativity scenes of La Orotava, be sure to seal your brochure, since there will be a prize draw for a gift voucher.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visits can be made both freely and on guided tours for small groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who organizes this route?<\/span><\/h2>\n

This event, already turned into a Christmas tradition, is possible thanks to the effort of the Asociaci\u00f3n Belenista Taoro in collaboration with the Town Council of La Orotava. It is estimated that over 40,000 people visit the itinerary in this edition.<\/span><\/p>\n
