In this sense, the Blue Flag is a special badge which possess many of the beaches that can be found in the Canary Islands and Tenerife.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"760\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/-k-778xGu_M\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">What is the Blue Flag?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Blue Flag is an annual badge by the European Federation for Environmental Education whose objective is that the population is aware of those beaches that are suitable for bathing. It certifies that they are enabled with environmental information and education and that they have ecological security and quality services to all users of the same.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">How many beaches have Blue Flag in the Canaries and Tenerife?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2016, on the Canary Islands 60 beaches were certified with blue flags (4 more than the previous year), of which 15 are located on the island of Tenerife.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Which are the beaches with Blue Flag in Tenerife?<\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Beaches with Blue Flag in the north of Tenerife<\/h3>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. Playa del M\u00e9dano<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A beautiful beach in the middle of one of the most picturesque villages in southern Tenerife, habitual resort of much of the tinerfe\u00f1os who do not want to leave the island and find in this town the perfect place to disconnect from the routine.
