But the highlight of the festival is when the fireworks or pyrotechnic fireworks show takes place. Hundreds of people congregate in the Plaza del Cristo, families and friends to enjoy the famous Christ fires.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Romer\u00eda de San Benito Abad<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This procession held in the historic center of San Cristobal de La Laguna takes place during the month of July, and it can be enjoyed, as in all pilgrimages, a festive atmosphere in which the people of La Laguna and visitors from other places are dressed in typical Canarian clothing, spending a holiday with family and friends, acclimated with canary folklore music and the cuisine of the islands.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Holy Week in La Laguna<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In La Laguna, Holy Week processions are lived with a special devotion and solemnity, hardly comparable to other places in the islands.
