On October 8, 2016 will be held the first edition of the Half Marathon at Night of Puerto de la Cruz. It will also have competitions of 5 and 10 kilometers for novice runners. This race will start and end at the Plaza de Europa, reaching the Loro Parque, and returning in the area of the Plaza del Charco and Lake Martiánez. In the case of the half marathon, it will be 3 of these rounds.
Infinity Xtreme Puerto de la Cruz
This is not just any race, since it is an extreme obstacle course held in Puerto de la Cruz on July 16. The contest will take place in the forecourt of the future sports city of Puerto de la Cruz and will have two different modalities: the Infinity Xtreme Sprint of 5 kilometers distance with 1 hour deadline to finish the route, and on the other hand the Radical Infinity Xtreme of 10 kilometers with 2 hours to complete the course.

It is a mountain race which is gaining more and more followers in the international scene and which already has a significant prestige. The last edition had 5 different modes: 93 kilometers ultramarathon, trail of 66 kilometers, 43 kilometers marathon, half marathon of 20 kilometers and 8 kilometers challenge Bluetrail adapted for disabled guests. The last edition which took place on June 11, 2016, had the finish line city in Puerto de la Cruz after passing through many mountainous areas of the island of Tenerife in various municipalities.
