1.Playa Jardín (Jardín Beach)
The most extensive swimming area and the best for beach lovers and athletes by the sea is Playa Jardín, located at one end of the city between San Felipe Castle and Punta Brava neighborhood and awarded with the Blue Flag for the quality of its facilities and water.
Playa Jardín complex includes two other beaches, followed one after the other: Playa Chica and Punta Brava.
2. Fishing Quay
One of the swimming areas of Puerto de la Cruz with more history and preferred by the inhabitants of the city is the Fishing Quay, which also has a special relationship with traditions, culture and religion, surrounding it with a more charming aura.
Place of entry and exit of numerous vessels between the XVIII and XIX centuries, it currently houses small fishing boats and hosts every year one of the most important events of Puerto de la Cruz, the embarkation of the Virgin of El Carmen.
The Fishing Quay is located in the heart of the city, next to Plaza del Charco.
3. Playa San Telmo (San Telmo Beach)
The most central swimming area of Puerto de la Cruz, in the middle of the newly modernized maritime and commercial promenade, is Playa San Telmo.
